As June comes to a close at the Fishers Island Oyster Farm, shipping responsibilities are well behind us. The crew spends a lot of their time processing young oysters at our brackish water pond site on the east end of Fishers Island. Steve spends all of his time monitoring and processing seed production, 90% of which gets used by other oyster farms in the North East. Dustin Cohen, a filmmaker and photographer based out of New York City, enthusiastically made plans to visit the farm in June of 2017 - gear in hand.
